This is my blog to explore the idea that split-octonions fit the empirical observations of physical laws better than the current tensor notation. Essentially, the thesis of this blog is that Tait was right, and physics made a mistake by following Gibbs and Heavyside.
This will require a rebuilding of classical physics from the ground up, culminating in the refractive field theory of gravity.
The building of this site will be intermittent and non-linear. Indeed, the refractive field theory of gravity is nearly complete, while converting the rest of physics to split-octonions is just underway.
